What does a rank map actually measure?
At every point on the grid, Local Echoes checks where your Google Business Profile appears in the local pack for a search term. You see rank 1–20, or that you are not in the pack at all.
How is this different from a desktop rank tracker?
Google local results change by location. A tracker sitting in one city cannot tell you if you vanish two miles east. The grid is the product.
How do credits work?
One grid point equals one credit. A 7×7 scan is 49 credits, a 13×13 scan is 169. The exact cost is shown before you run every scan, and credits reset monthly on paid plans.
What does the free plan include?
One full 7×7 scan — 49 grid points, the complete ranking map, and competitor drilldown. No credit card required to sign up.
How long does a report take?
Larger grids take longer because each point is a real local search. The report page shows live progress and updates on its own when processing finishes.
Do I need a Google Place ID?
Search for the business in Local Echoes. We resolve the Place ID, coordinates, and address from Google Places so the grid is centered on the real listing.
